Handstand Push-ups, Kettlebells, and Sit-ups

The WOD:
As many rounds as possible in 8 minutes of:
4 Handstand Push-ups (HSPU)
8 reps of 2 pood Kettlebell swings
12 reps of GHD sit-ups

I did a scaling between the pack and puppy today.
4 HSPU - Bridged with feet elevated
8 reps of 35 lb. Dumbbell swings (approximately 1 pood = 36 lbs.; you should have seen the looks I got from the trainers at the Gym when I mentioned Kettlebells and poods)
12 Sit-ups

Results:
I lost track of my rounds it was either 6 or 5 plus an additional 4 HSPU.
So I am officially going to make it 5.

Thoughts:
My legs are feeling much better now after the last series of workouts.
First the HSPU - these went very well. So well in fact, that after I came home I wanted to try a strict against wall HSPU and was successful. This is a first that I am very excited about.
Second the Sit-ups - These also went well however I did feel some strain from the same group of muscles that was hurt previously.  It is not incredibly painful but certainly uncomfortable when performing certain motions.  I am currently not planning on letting up for this. Hopefully it will continue to heal while I workout.
Third the Mutt scaling - The workout was a challenge but not terrible. I will have a better assessment of my soreness from this workout tomorrow.  I think I could have pushed harder in a few areas and it may be a little light.  I will continue my little experiment for a few more days to see how it plays out.

Lesson:
Never presume to know where you stand.  Instead of being humble, you will get humbled.
